Cookie Policy

Last updated:

At QRcrea.com we use cookies to make the site work, remember your preferences, understand how it is used and show advertising that allows us to offer the generator for free. Here we explain what they are and how you can control them.

1What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They help the site work properly, remember your preferences (such as language) and gather statistics about how it is used.

We also use similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage. In this policy, we refer to all of them as “cookies”.

The QR codes you create do not contain cookies and do not track the people who scan them.

2Types of cookies we use

Necessary

Essential for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice. They cannot be disabled.

Functional

Remember your preferences, such as language, to give you a smoother experience.

Analytics

Help us understand, in aggregate, how many people visit us and which tools they use most. They are only enabled if you accept them.

Advertising

They are used by Google and its partners to show ads, limit how often they are repeated and measure their performance. They may personalize ads based on your visits to this and other sites.

4Third-party cookies

We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to collect visitor statistics. Google may process this data outside your country in accordance with its own policies.

We also use Google AdSense (Google LLC) to show ads. We explain this in detail in the next section.

You can learn how Google uses this information on its privacy page.

To draw QR codes and display fonts, we load resources from external servers (CDNs). These services receive your IP address in order to deliver the files, but they do not set cookies in your browser.

5Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)

This site displays Google AdSense ads. To do so:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • The use of advertising cookies, such as the DoubleClick cookie, enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Other third-party vendors and ad networks may also use cookies to show ads on this site.

6How to manage your cookies

When you first visit the site, we show you a notice so you can accept, reject or customize cookies. Analytics cookies are only enabled if you give your consent.

If you visit us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent to advertising cookies through a Google-certified consent management platform. If you do not give it, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the button below or the cookie icon in the bottom corner of the screen.

Your preferences Review and change which cookies you accept.

7Disabling cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Please note that if you block necessary cookies, some parts of the site may not work properly.

To stop Google Analytics from collecting your data on any website, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

8Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the cookies we use or the applicable regulations change. We will always publish the current version on this page along with its last updated date.

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions.
