Create a free QR code with your Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin address to receive payments without wallet copy errors.
A Bitcoin QR code contains your wallet address and, optionally, the exact amount to pay. Whoever scans it with their wallet app sees the details already filled in and only has to confirm the transfer.
Crypto addresses are long, and one wrong character can make the money disappear. A QR code avoids copy-and-paste mistakes. It also works with Ethereum and Litecoin.
Remember that crypto payments cannot be reversed. That is why a well-made QR code, with the address copied straight from your wallet and tested with a small amount, is the best guarantee that every payment reaches its destination.
Only share your receiving address. Never put your recovery phrase (seed) or private key in a QR code: with them anyone could empty your wallet.
Check that the coin and network match your wallet. Sending a coin to an address on another network can mean losing it.
A wallet address is 26 to 62 characters long, and if you add the amount the code grows a little more. On a counter or a receipt it reads well at 1.2 in (3 cm); on a screen or a sign next to the till, use 3 to 4 in (8 to 10 cm). If you stick it on the terminal or the door, place it at chest height, where customers can scan without moving.
With payments, reliability comes first: use black or a very dark color on a white background, with no gradients or very rounded dot shapes. If you add a logo, keep it small and set error correction to "Maximum (H)". Write the coin and network next to the code, for example "Bitcoin (BTC)", to avoid payments sent on the wrong network.
Each type of code has its own generator with exactly the fields it needs. Pick the one that fits what you want to share:
Yes, the public address can only receive funds. What you must never share is your recovery phrase or private key.
Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin.
Any crypto wallet that can scan QR codes, which is most of them.
No. If you leave it empty, the payer enters the amount in their wallet.
Yes. If you don't set an amount, the customer enters it in their wallet each time. Keep in mind that all payments go to the same address and are visible on the blockchain.
The generator supports Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin. For another coin, create a text QR code with your address and clearly state the coin and network next to the code.
If it's sent on a network your wallet doesn't recognize, the funds may be lost. That's why it's important to state the coin and network next to the code.
